Barnes Group (NYSE:B) rose 8% in after hours trading after a report that private equity shop Apollo Global (APO) is in talks to acquire the make of aerospace components for about $2 billion. The deal is likely to value Barnes Group (B) at more than $45 a share,

If the talks are successful, a deal could be signed in the coming weeks, the sources said, cautioning a transaction is not guaranteed and another suitor could emerge if talks with Apollo fall apart
